Welcome to Chantara, in the beautiful Ellenborough region.

This gorgeous 250-acre property is nestled amongst undulating hills with open grassland surrounded by bush.

Campers here will truly get back to nature, wake up to the sounds of the native rainforest birds and enjoy peace and quiet. This campsite is suitable for self-contained campers only, those with their own camping toilet/shower and water supply. Toilet and shower may be available on request, but not guaranteed.

4WD access only! Offering guided horse rides for all types of riders with the option of lunch included and a swim in the beautiful river.

Enjoy a walk to the top of the hills for an amazing view and admire the rainforest plants and birds, or go for a mountain bike ride along the dirt trails and rainforest. Swim in the beautiful river on a hot summer day.

Roast marshmallows with the kids around the campfire by night. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

The area has a diverse range of birds including bowerbirds, king parrots, kingfishers, honeyeaters, and wedge-tailed eagles.
