Overview
Nestled into the corner of Darby Street and Council Street, you'll find the long-standing and well-loved neighbourhood bistro, Hotel Delany (but you can call them The Del).
Locally owned and operated, the Australian bistro is an iconic piece of Newcastle's foodie scene, where friends and family have been gathering together for generations. Not only a dining destination for lunch and dinner, it is also complete with endless spaces to suit every outing. Dance to live music and DJ sets, grab a cold beverage from any of the four bars, host parties in The Del's function room or watch your favourite game on an array of live sports screens.
There's even a drive-thru bottle shop for those on the go. Following a multi-million-dollar refurbishment, The Del continues to grow as one of Newcastle's hottest spots to eat, drink, and dance.
