Myocum farm is a 110 acre working cattle farm and we also grow fingerlimes - which are a fruit indigenous to this area. We had over 700 highly productive trees supplying local and Sydney markets but the recent flooding rains meant about half have had dieback and we're still in the process of restoring the remainder. Historically since white settlement of this area the land has been a dairy then beef cattle farm. Thus it has been mostly cleared, but our cherished hope is to regenerate habitat for native species. There is a small creek winding through our valley and we hope to plant this out with rainforest species and koala trees along with a lot of the paddocks and fence lines. Our cattle are Black Angus, and also Charolais, which are a beautiful white breed originating in France. We have two very fine stud bulls though we advise you keep your distance from all the cattle especially any of the calfs as the mothers are protective.
