Wupa@Wanaruah Aboriginal Art Exhibition and Trail
Overview
Wupa@Wanaruah is a free Aboriginal art and culture exhibition that is annually facilitated by Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation, in conjunction with venues located throughout the Hunter Valley Wine and the surrounding region.
The collaboration between Ungooroo and the venues allows WUPA to become more than just an exhibition of Aboriginal art, but an inclusive experience of all that the Hunter offers.
The trail is a self-guided, free tour that allows visitors to experience the Aboriginal history and culture of the Hunter Region, as expressed in the art work of local WUPA artists at their own leisure.
