Gundaroo will host the first Potters Popup! event, showcasing handmade ceramics from Gundaroo and the surrounding region.
PottersPopup! brings together seven potters who have bonded over a shared love of clay and creativity at Old Saint Luke’s Studio on Shingle Hill Way. Under the mentorship of Ian Jones and Moraig McKenna, each potter has developed their own style, and there will be plenty of interesting pieces to choose from.
The group will be bringing plenty of functional and decorative pieces, with most pieces being made and fired right in Gundaroo at Old Saint Luke’s. From beautifully useful cups and bowls, to delightful ceramic creatures of pure whimsy, there will be something for everyone. Everything will be for sale (by cash or card).
The seven artists involved are Emily Kerr, Leanne McKenzie, Paul Dorman, Sandie Johnston, Shelley Schreiner, Sam Foster and Colette Steindl.
