Pirates is an hilarious, hopeful farce, centred on young Frederic, an orphan who has mistakenly been apprenticed to a raucous band of pirates.
The story follows Frederic’s attempts to escape this apprenticeship, carry him on a voyage through several farcical situations that, in true Gilbertian style, cannot be resolved until the last moment when everything falls into place once more.

Pirates of Penzance offers audiences the opportunity to enjoy the beauty, wit and whimsy of Gilbert and Sullivan’s classic score in a classic production of this excellent comic opera. Directed by Leigh Ladd, Musical Director Nicky Rosengren in conjunction with The Riverina Conservatorium of Music.
