Start your visit to the Hay area at the Hay Visitor Centre, where you can pick up maps, brochures and information about the region. The friendly staff will welcome you with warm country hospitality and are happy to share their top tips. You can also purchase local souvenirs and produce.

Hay has a large network of cycleways and, thanks to the flat landscape, is a great place to explore on two wheels. The Hay Visitor Centre offers free bicycle hire for visitors. There are four adult bikes and two children’s bikes available and you can reserve online in advance. Be sure to grab or download a copy of the Hay Bike Map before you set off.

Other facilities include toilets, showers (for a small fee), filtered drinking water, parking for cars, buses and caravans, and a picnic area.
