Overview

On a glorious site, high above the bustling city and overlooking lush countryside, is Borrodell Vineyard, a country retreat amongst the grape vines - one of Australia's highest.

Borrodell Vineyard is nestled in the lee of Mount Canobolas on the slopes of the Towac Valley. It is an 84 acre vineyard, cherry, plum and heritage apple orchard and trufferie. Ten minutes from Orange and adjacent to Lake Canobolas, the rich volcanic soils and 1000 metre elevation ensures the best of cool climate wines and produce. The cellar door is open seven days for tasting the award-winning cool climate wines.

Accommodation available on the property includes two self-contained cottages set amongst the vineyard and the orchard, and two exclusive eco-suites designed for couples.

Sister’s Rock Restaurant is located at the top of Borrodell Vineyard, overlooking the Pinot Noir block.

Head Chef Richard Learmonth leads the Sister’s Rock Restaurant team. His passion for Borrodell’s local produce features in his menu, showcasing all the in-season delights from the orchard and surrounds. Their philosophy of food has developed around a love of the variety of produce grown on the estate and what’s available in regional Australia. Come and try his delicious cuisine for yourself.
