Richard and Janet de Beaurepaire pioneered winemaking at Rylstone in 1998 due to the similarity of the 'terroir' to their Burgundian homeland.

The sixteen French styles of wine are crafted from grapes sourced solely from the very cool climate, sustainable and regeneratively farmed 55-hectare vineyard.

Joined by the next generation, Amanda and Will, their wines are increasingly found in Australia and Asia's best restaurants, bars and hotels.

The cellar door was awarded Gourmet Traveller Wine's Best Small Cellar Door in 2022 for their region. De Beaurepaire Wines was awarded Australian Wine of the Year in 2018 by Winestate, and is rated a 5-star winery by Halliday for 2024 (one of only 4 in the Mudgee region).
