High Country Handmade Showcase
Sunday 02 December 2018 to Sunday 01 September 2019 (QUARTERLY event)
Each season in the New England high country brings a distinct new energy, and the region's handmade hub - The Makers Shed at Glen Innes - celebrates the change on the first Sunday of summer, autumn, winter and spring!
Resident Makers - silversmith Richard Moon and wordsmith Michael Burge - throw open the gate to their sunny yard and the doors of The Makers Shed for visitors to experience artisans in action from across the New England region.
Select from a range of high-quality, hand-crafted gifts, homewares and wearable art (follow @TheMakersShedGlenInnes on Facebook for announcements about participating artisans... there are new traders each season).
Our Place Wine and Espresso Bar of Tenterfield parks their gourmet coffee van in the yard with a variety of brunch and lunch options, and catch fantastic live music from 11am!
The Makers Shed is a place for business-artisans creating and showcasing their work, handmade and independent products, unique jewellery, art and books. Visitors can also sign up for regular workshops!
