Jenolan Caves House
Nestled in a valley in the Blue Mountains World Heritage area, Caves House is a short walk from the amazing Jenolan Caves, one of the most spectacular and oldest cave systems in the world.
Caves House features warm country hospitality, grand dining and log fires. It has been an iconic wilderness getaway for pampered explorers since 1896 and is the only remaining guesthouse of its kind in Australia.
Atmospheric 'classic' bedrooms feature period furnishings. Please note that no two rooms are the same. Although there is limited Wifi, Caves House guests are seeking authentic historic ambience and a total escape from the outside world. Therefore, guestrooms have no televisions or phones.
'Classic' and 'Grand Classic' guestrooms have en suite bathrooms. However, they still offer a few lower priced traditional guesthouse rooms, which have shared bathrooms.
Separate from Caves House, the accommodation complex at Jenolan offers a range of alternate accommodation, including the Mountain Lodge, with modern guestrooms, the budget Gate House with bunks and shared facilities, and a range of secluded bush cottages.
Jenolan's Cave Cafe is open daily, serving light meals, drinks and snacks. Chisolm's Restaurant, the grand dining room, is open every evening.
