Leura Garage


Housed in a former mechanic’s workshop in the centre of Leura, this award-winning, eco-friendly cafe and bar opened in 2011. You can see elements of the buildings past life around the space, like the car hoist used as a wine rack and plant pots made from stacks of tires. There’s a focus on seasonal produce and small regional suppliers, with truffles from Oberon, saffron from Capertee, trout from Nundle, herbs from Lawson and olive oil from Mudgee appearing on the menu. Tuck into stone baked pizzas, share the 1.2kg slow roasted lamb shoulder, or try a bit of everything with the tasting menu.
