Die National Cartoon Gallery lädt Sie ein, die Welt der Mythen, Monster und Marsmenschen zu entdecken – das Thema der neuesten Ausstellung, die diese Woche pünktlich zu den Schulferien in der National Cartoon Gallery eröffnet wird.
Mit über 150 Werken einiger der besten australischen Cartoonisten und Illustratoren bietet die Ausstellung einen humorvollen Blick auf gruselige (und weniger gruselige) Fantasiewesen aus Folklore und Fiktion.
„Mythen, Monster und Marsmenschen“ präsentiert preisgekrönte Cartoonisten wie Mark Lynch, Tony Lopes, Phil Judd und den aus Coffs Harbour stammenden Hec Goodall. Die Cartoons decken die Jahre von den 1980er-Jahren bis 2025 ab.
Die Ausstellung läuft bis Ende Februar 2026.
