Singleton Kunst- und Kulturzentrum
Überblick
Das Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre (SACC) liegt auf dem traditionellen Land der Wonnarua und Wanaruah und ist ein lebendiger Treffpunkt für die Gemeinde, der Kunst und Kultur in Singleton fördert.
Geleitet von einer Vision, die hochkarätige Ausstellungen, anregende Programme und eine aktive Beteiligung der Gemeinde in den Vordergrund stellt, entwickelt sich das SACC stetig zu einem zugänglichen und einladenden Ort für kreatives Schaffen.
Mit über 300 m² eigens dafür eingerichteter Galeriefläche und zwei Atelierwerkstätten präsentiert das Zentrum zeitgenössische Kunst von lokalen, regionalen, nationalen und internationalen Künstlern. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch ein ganzjähriges Programm mit Vorträgen, Workshops und Aktivitäten für alle Altersgruppen. Das SACC bietet außerdem Räumlichkeiten zur Anmietung an, darunter einen Besprechungsraum, ein Atelier und einen digitalen Arbeitsbereich.
Als gemeinschaftlich getragene öffentliche Galerie kümmert sich das SACC auch um die Singleton Art Collection und setzt sich für deren Erhaltung, Vermittlung und anhaltende Relevanz ein.
Im Townhead Park von Singleton gelegen, neben dem Besucherinformationszentrum und dem ParkView Café, bietet das SACC einen Ort, an dem Kreativität, Lernen und Begegnung gedeihen.
