Pioneer Cottage und Museum
Überblick
Der Walcha Pioneer Cottage- und Museumskomplex beherbergt eine Vielzahl historischer Gebäude aus den 1860er Jahren.
Zu den Gebäuden gehören das Museum, das Pioneer Cottage, der Geräteschuppen, die Wollhalle, die Schmiede und ein Hangar mit einem Tiger Moth-Flugzeug, das der Royal Australian Air Force und später East West Airlines gehörte.
Zu den Exponaten gehören Militärgeschichte, Familienerinnerungsstücke, Artefakte der Aborigines, historische Fotos, Ausrüstung der Wollindustrie, seltene Werkzeuge und frühe Haushaltsgegenstände.
Pioneer Cottage and Museum begrüßt Reisebusse, Wohnmobile und Schulgruppen auch nach Vereinbarung.
