The Milton Folk Jazz and Blues Festival returns, weaving through Milton's streets, parks, pubs and venues over three days.

2026 features a new mini-stage on Wason Street: The Jazz Lab—a street party over Friday evening and Saturday featuring Brazilian jazz trombone master Joabe Reis, Ulladulla High School Performing Ensemble, and ambient electronic cult heroes Godtet.

An official Welcome to Country ceremony by Bungalin opens proceedings on The Village Green, which also welcomes The Three Seas' global fusion of Baul mysticism and spiritual jazz, plus Uncle Frank Yamma—one of Australia's most respected First Nations songwriters singing in Pitjantjatjara and English.

St Mary's Star of the Sea hosts ARIA-nominated saxophonists Sandy Evans and Andrew Robson in the Evans Robson Quartet, while award-winning Melbourne neo-folk trio Apolline weave intricate arrangements on cello, fiddle and double bass.

The Star Hotel delivers knockout blues including Frank Sultana's raw Delta blues (2023 Memphis International Blues Challenge winner) and festival favourites Hussy Hicks.

Special cafe and restaurant performances include Midnight Tea Party's balkan brass fusion at Brown Sugar, jazz legends Clayton Doley and Jeremy Sawkins at The Prickly Pear Courtyard, and gypsy jazz legend George Washingmachine at Milkhaus.

Milton Theatre hosts three ticketed shows: JB Paterson + High Street Drifters, Mahalia Barnes & The Soul Mates (SOLD OUT), and Bumpy.
