The Wootton Historical Railway Walk is a six kilometre one way walk in beautiful Wang Wauk State Forest.

The walk starts at Sam's Camp Picnic Area., with the first section of the walk taking in rainforest and cleared, grassy areas used by logging vehicles in the early 1900s, including remnants of old logging railways and bridges, waterfalls and creeks. Wang Wauk Forest Way marks the halfway point of this walk, before continuing downslope and passing through gully rainforest and magnificent regrowth flooded gums. The Walk finishes at the remains of the Trestle Bridge, formerly used to transport harvested logs within the forest.

This Walk is maintained by Forestry Corporation and The Wootton Community Network and can be overgrown in sections from time to time, due to verdant forest growth.
