Girls Day Out – Women in Sport (Lennox Head)

Girls Day Out – Women in Sport is a girls-only sports experience designed to inspire confidence, connection, and a love of getting active. Held at beautiful Lake Ainsworth in Lennox Head, the event invites girls aged 5–16 years to be brave, try something new, and enjoy sport in a fun, supportive environment.

Participants can choose from an exciting lineup of activities across land, turf, waves and ramps, with coaching delivered by leading sporting organisations. Girls can try one sport or mix and match across the day.

Sports include soccer, Rugby 7's, hockey, Rugby League, AFL, golf, surfing, skateboarding and more.

Every participant receives a Girls Day Out tote bag filled with goodies from the Girls Day Out team and sponsors.

Girls Day Out is proudly fuelled by Kloster Ford Newcastle and supported by RAIS, Toybox Films and Rip Curl.

This event is ideal for beginners and experienced participants alike, offering a welcoming way to build skills, confidence and friendships through sport.
