Stop-Motion Animation Workshop - Year 5 and 6 Students
Overview
Discover the magic of stop-motion animation in this creative workshop for students in school years five and six, held at Muswellbrook Library.
Led by award-winning animators and filmmakers Jelena Sinik, Nicolette Axiak and Carl Stewart, participants explore the fundamentals of animation, storytelling and character creation. Students bring ordinary objects to life, making them do the impossible through the art of stop-motion, and leave with a short animation they have created themselves.
The workshop covers stop-motion software, animation principles, storytelling techniques, fine motor skills and creative problem-solving.
This inclusive workshop welcomes all students in school years five and six, including those with additional needs. Children under 13 years of age must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.
Proudly supported by the Blue Heeler Film Festival.
