Pilliga Artesian Bore Baths Campground
Overview
The Pilliga Artesian Bore Bath is a designated Primitive Campground with basic facilities and no powered sites. Facilities include a toilet block and cold shower, an electric barbecue, and shelters. A roof covers the pool area, and it has lighting for nighttime bathing. There are also parking areas for caravans and motorhomes.
Maximum stay is four nights.
No caravan/RV dump point at this campsite; nearest facility is at Dangar Park, 55 Cowper Street, Wee Waa NSW, only 45 minutes away. No potable water is located at this campsite. Please clean your campsite before departure.
The natural health-giving waters that flow into the Pilliga Artesian Bore Baths have been doing so for well over a century. This facility is found just East of the village of Pilliga along the Pilliga Road (approximately 56 kilometres from Wee Waa/sealed road).
There is no charge to enter the Bore for a day visit.
The water temperature is about 37.1 degrees Celsius, and many people come to bathe in it for therapeutic value.
