An ambitious young adult cuts up his childhood drawings to create something new.
A desperate man claws for a shred of inspiration, even if it means hurting his loved ones in the process.
Set in a gallery space, Cicada brings audiences into the world of an unnamed artist and charts the course of his tumultuous life and career from summers spent growing up in quiet suburbs to the dizzying heights of success and the subsequent fall from grace.

Cicada is a non-linear immersive blend of theatre and visual art. Through monologues, movement and interactive storytelling, Cicada explores the depths of memory and how much of ourselves we lose in the process of creating art.
