Line, Mark, Colour, Your Visual Language: an Arts Muster workshop
Overview
This relaxed two-day workshop is devoted to exploring and befriending key elements in making art—line, mark making and colour. Both tutors are experienced, practicing artists. They will guide you through various exercises and explorations in which you will gain knowledge and understanding as you progress, then apply this to making one or more mixed media artworks.
Suitable for ages 16 plus.
This event is part of the Arts Muster Festival, Huskisson.
About Your Tutors:
Marg McHugh: Mixed media, experimentation and nature inform Marg's art practice. She reproduced many of her hen portraits in Squawk, a book of short stories. The study of art at Nowra TAFE inspired Marg to launch a pop-up gallery, Artscape 481 (on the road to Bundanon), which hosts community art events.
Anandii is a practising ceramic artist and printmaker who is now dabbling in watercolour and palette knife 2D artworks. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at National Art School in 2006 and then moved on to complete ceramics study at TAFE. She is passionate about the environment and using art as a voice for change and connection with community. She loves to explore using different media and has at least five projects going at any given time - many of which sit patiently awaiting completion.
