North Durras Beach
Highlights
- Ideal surf spot with consistent sand banks for intermediates
- Scenic beach near a quiet village and natural river mouth
- Sheltered northern end perfect for wind-protected beach days
Overview
North Durras is Shoalhaven's most southern beach. A river mouth at it's southern end is a natural transition to it's neighbour, Eurobodalla, and just behind the dunes is North Durras village, a small community of just a few hundred residents.
The consistent sand banks make North Durras Beach a popular spot for intermediate surfers. The northern reef is popular in bigger swell while the northern end of the beach faces south and is protected from the north-eastern wind.
