Their sound weaves Baul mysticism, Himalayan folk, spiritual jazz, dub, folk-rock, and global grooves. Sung in Bengali, Hindi, Nepali, and English, Antaḥkaraṇa takes its name from the Sanskrit word for "inner instrument", the meeting place of memory, intuition, identity, and soul. Ancient poetry sits inside dub grooves, Nepali folk melodies entwine with baritone sax riffs, and chants resonate alongside rock and electronica.
