Mother's Day Classic – Ballina
Overview
Mother's Day Classic – Ballina returns to Missingham Park, inviting the community to come together for a morning of movement, connection and purpose.
Set along the picturesque Richmond River, the event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to run or walk 4 kilometres in support of breast and ovarian cancer research.
The morning begins at 7:30am with the opening of the Event Village and registrations. The 4km run commences at 8:00am and 8:15am, followed by the 4km walk at 8:45am and 9:00am.
Beyond the course, the vibrant Event Village offers a range of activities and stalls designed to create a meaningful and memorable experience. Participants can visit the Registration Marquee, reflect at the Honor Wall, decorate a race bib, create friendship bracelets, enjoy face painting, and take part in the special mini event, the Rainbow Scavenger Hunt. There will be plenty more to explore throughout the morning.
Whether running, walking, volunteering or cheering from the sidelines, the Mother's Day Classic – Ballina provides an opportunity to honour loved ones, celebrate community spirit and contribute to vital cancer research.
