This is the first in their 2026 Music Cafe By Night series.
Pakedano, a quartet of friends from the Illawarra, have been indulging their shared love of latin and straight-ahead jazz tunes for several years. Now, finally, they're venturing forth. Paul Cooper (keyboards), who has played in ensembles both locally and in the UK is now devoting more time to his music; Keith Horton (guitar) has developed his distinctive, tasteful style in a variety of settings locally; Neil Cairns is enjoying the opportunity to combine two great passions: mastering double bass and playing improvisational jazz; and David Gale (drums) brings his unique blend of percussive mastery to the group. Together, Pakedano deliver a unique mix of material, from classic swing to modern latin jazz, with a genuine passion.

Music Café at CTC Robertson is a relaxed space to listen to talented local and touring musicians while enjoying coffee and cake, or a snack with a glass of wine or a beer. (Alcohol free options always available too.)
