Ganmain Historical Society Open Day
Overview
Take "a step back in time" to witness life in Ganmain since 1838. There will be live exhibitions of traditional blacksmithing, woodcarving, and butter churning; along with vintage farm machinery on show with local farmers operating vintage equipment.
A late 1800's circular sock knitting machine used to make socks for the soldiers in WW1 will also be in use.
Newly acquired vintage tractors will be on loan and displayed along Boggy Creek at the rear of the Museum.
Refreshments and barbeque will be available.
