Overview
Barbour House is a 1920's bungalow with beautiful high ceilings, wide verandahs and a sympathetic interior. Accommodation consists of two queen bedrooms, a living area, dining area and a full kitchen.
The beds are wonderfully comfortable and cozy in winter, especially with the open fireplace. In the warmer months, the verandah is cool and relaxing.
Delicious homemade breakfast on the verandah with the local boys (magpies) overlooking the garden is a special treat.
The Telegraph Pub in Gunning is great for a good old-fashioned pub meal and a nice cold beer. It's a place to run away from time.
Barbour House is conveniently located for a stop over between Melbourne/Adelaide and Sydney, or an indulgent getaway 50 minutes from Canberra and 30 minutes from Goulburn and Yass.
