Goulburn Model Expo

The Goulburn Model Expo is back in Goulburn, organised by the Georges River Model Railway Club at Veolia Arena, and has expanded to a third hall for a bigger Expo.

The Expo aims to promote model railways and plastic kit modelling, fostering constructive leisure activities for young people. The event will feature over 50 model railway layouts, along with other displays, including LEGO exhibits and radio-controlled trucks and diggers.

An expanded selection of vendors will offer products from beginner starter sets, tools and paints to highly detailed models and accessories for experienced modellers. Exhibitors will be available to answer questions. The Expo will also host clinics where attendees can observe and learn various modelling skills and techniques.

The venue offers on-site and street parking, as well as accessible facilities, including ramp access, as well as all proceeds from the onsite BBQ will be donated to Kids with Cancer.

The Picnic Train will run steam train trips from Sydney to Goulburn on Saturday and Sunday, with shuttle bus services available between Goulburn Railway Station and the Veolia Arena.
