Located on the western wall of the Grenfell Motel, this mural is a celebration of the Weddin Shire's natural beauty. Inspired by the region's rich flora and fauna, the artwork captures Grenfell's rural charm while reflecting the community's deep connection to the surrounding environment. The mural was created through a collaborative effort involving the Weddin Shire Council and the local community. Guided by community input, artists Daniel Walton and Scott Nagy incorporated elements that embody the shared appreciation for the region's natural heritage.

Unveiled on December 31, 2024, during the Light Up the Night New Year's Eve Street Party, the mural has become a feature of Grenfell's public art scene. It stands as a testament to the community's pride in its local landscape and its commitment to honouring the natural world that surrounds us.

This project was made possible through the support of the Weddin Shire Council and funding from the NSW Government, which enabled the creation of this tribute to the region's environment.

The Grenfell Motel Mural invites both residents and visitors to appreciate the beauty of the natural world, right in the heart of town. It serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving and celebrating our environment of the Weddin Shire for future generations to enjoy.
