New England Tourist Trophy
Overview
The New England Tourist Trophy (NETT) is a brand-new, closed-road targa-style GT race designed to position Walcha, NSW, as a signature drive tourism and motorsport destination.
Scheduled for April 2026, the event will utilise a 22 kilometre section of Thunderbolts Way and feature competitive time trials in a high-performance, Targa-style format.
It aims to attract visitors from across NSW and beyond, blending adrenaline with scenic beauty and small-town hospitality. NETT is designed to scale into a flagship annual event, serving as both an economic stimulus and a cultural showcase for the region.
