The Great Western Gallery is a great little stop in Cobar right beneath the Great Western Hotel verandah. The gallery is open 5 days in the week and exhibits the work of 20 local artists and crafters that include knitters, crocheters, metal and woodworkers, quilters and card makers. The Gallery has recently undergone some restoration work to enhance the visitor experience with new carpet and a fresh coat of paint. All visitors are welcome in this cosy little artists' corner of Cobar. You might even find that perfect piece of local art to take home with you.
