One of its standout features is a striking public art mural by Dirk Romeyn, contributing to the vibrant mural scene in Broken Hill - Australia's first heritage-listed city.

Adding to its growing reputation, The Shed was a finalist in three categories at the Far West NSW Excellence in Business Awards 2024, and again in four categories in 2025. The front sitting area, overlooking Sturt Park is, a place visitors can relax and enjoy an old-fashioned cuppa for a gold coin donation.
