Byron Shuttle Bus is a locally owned airport shuttle bus service based in Byron Bay. It runs door-to-door transfers between Byron Bay and Ballina Byron Gateway Airport, with scheduled departures in both directions throughout the day. Transfers from Byron Bay to Gold Coast Airport and Brisbane Airport are also available, with pickups from those airports by arrangement.
Fares are charged per vehicle, not per person, so couples, families and groups of up to seven travel together for one price.
For airport pickups, the driver waits up to one hour after the scheduled landing time at no extra charge if a flight is delayed. Travellers are collected from the airport and taken straight to their accommodation, home or venue.
Bookings are made online with instant confirmation, and the service suits holidaymakers, wedding guests, business travellers and anyone arriving in Byron Bay by air.
