Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival

The Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival is a biennial celebration of art, nature and community set in the rolling hills of the historic Wollombi Valley.

For over two decades, this beloved event has transformed the valley into an open-air gallery, inviting visitors to wander through scenic vineyards, explore curated indoor exhibitions and engage with a dynamic calendar of events. As NSW's longest-running and largest-scale regional sculpture festival, it showcases the work of leading and emerging Australian artists across vineyards, village spaces and gallery settings.

Founded in 2002, the festival is a community-driven, not-for-profit initiative powered by more than 100 dedicated local volunteers. It holds the distinction of having Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of NSW, as its Patron. Each edition features the prestigious Governor's Prize, with the winning work exhibited at Government House for twelve months, a fitting tribute to the festival's dedication to artistic excellence and public engagement.

Beyond the sculptures, visitors are invited to linger in the valley, sampling boutique wines, charming cafés and cosy accommodation while soaking up the transformative power of art set against a rural backdrop.
