Country Carriage Bed and Breakfast

Country Carriage Bed and Breakfast is a unique, peaceful and private rural retreat with a choice of two fully self-contained train carriages on a fifth- and sixth-generation family farm located just off Burley Griffin Way, 20 minutes west of Temora.

The Overlander accommodates up to four adults with Queen bed and Double bed compartments. User-friendly kitchenette equipped with an air fryer, sandwich press, multi-purpose slow cooker/rice cooker, electric fry pan for guests who wish to dine-in and cook their evening meals. Outdoor gas Weber barbecue.

The City Circle provides spacious open-plan accommodation for a couple with a king-size bed. An outdoor bath, billiard table, chess set, board games, glossy magazines and books are special extra touches. Electric barbecue on the undercover decking to the carriage.

Both carriages have reverse-cycle heating/cooling, quality linen, bathrobes, towels and toiletries, flat-screen TV, DVD player, free DVDs, firepit, and firewood.

Whether you are looking for a quiet one-night stopover or a longer stay to explore the Riverina, they offer country hospitality and all the comforts of home. They are a family farm growing cereal crops and running Australian White sheep and a few horses, including their Clydesdale mares Bonnie and Bessie. Enjoy star-studded nights, the beautiful sunrise and sunset, the tranquillity, abundant birdlife, the rambling country garden, the collection of early horse-drawn farming equipment and the Pioneers Cottage.
