The Henry Parkes Centre, located at the northern edge of Parkes, is a must-see destination for history and culture lovers. This dynamic complex features three unique attractions: The King's Castle Elvis Exhibit and Parkes Motor Museum, The Henry Parkes Museum, and Moat Cottage, a replica of Sir Henry Parkes' childhood home in England.

The King's Castle Elvis Exhibit showcases an incredible collection of original Elvis Presley memorabilia, owned by Greg Page, the original Yellow Wiggle. Adjacent to it, the Parkes Motor Museum displays an impressive collection of vintage cars and motorcycles, highlighting the history of motoring.

The Henry Parkes Museum brings Parkes' early history to life with over 15,000 items, including Sir Henry Parkes memorabilia, vintage agricultural machinery, and displays about the Wiradjuri people and the Emmanuel Brothers. Highlights include two historic churches, a blacksmith shop, and Wongalea School, where Sunstruck was filmed in 1972.

Don't miss Moat Cottage, where an interactive display shares the life and achievements of Sir Henry Parkes, the Father of Federation.
