Mothers Day Watercolour Workshop at Heifer Station Winery

This mothers day weekend, local artist Sam Johnson is running a beginner-friendly watercolour painting workshop at the Heifer Station Cellar Door.

Whether you come with your mum, your best friend, or just you, you'll enjoy a guided workshop through basic watercolour techniques to help create a beautiful piece you'll be proud to display.

After a few years of living and studying in the city, Sam returned home to the Central West to her family farm, only to realise her heart had never left the bush. The gum trees and open spaces she had missed, were once again her backyard. It was during this time that she picked up a paintbrush and began trying to capture the beauty she saw around her. Sam's art celebrates her rural roots, faith and the beauty of country life.

This event is a lovely way to celebrate the Mother's Day weekend together.

No experience necessary - all materials are provided.

Includes a glass of bubbles on arrival, a gourmet grazing board, a frame for your artwork and a 3-hour guided watercolour class.
