Sunnyside - Banks of Severn River
Overview
Escape to Sunnyside, Riverside camping fifteen minutes from Deepwater and Twenty minutes from Glen Innes.
Enjoy a location off the beaten track. You won't be disturbed by night traffic and trucks but you'll be close enough to the highway for convenience.
Exhaust fumes won't bother you here, just the sigh of the wind fresh off the river.
Suitable for self contained campers (please note no toilets or water available at this time, the campground is positioned on flat ground on an elevated bank overlooking the Severn River. A shared fire pit is available at the entrance to the camping area, please no fires in the camping paddock.
Make your way to the river's edge and throw a line in during open season. Catch and release only, please ensure that you follow all NSW fishing guidelines.
Campers are welcome to bring their own non-powered kayak or canoe or to take a dip in the fresh Severn River water. The water flows constantly and is suitable for swimming.
