Waste 2 Art Community Workshop

Cowra Council is pleased to announce its involvement in the community art exhibition and competition called Waste 2 Art.

Renowned artist Shani Nottingham will be guiding participants in crafting artworks from waste materials.

Come along and share ideas, individuals and groups are welcome. If you have an idea of what you want to do already, take advantage of this opportunity to gain some advice on how to go about it.

Each year a specific waste item will be featured. This year they are focusing on shrinking the waste footprint and entrants will need to package their artworks into a shoe or boot box for transport. The workshop will help you work around ideas and give tips on working small, finding uses for waste items which can't be recycled but can be converted into something creative.
