Highlights
Overview
Lindsay House is a historical Armidale treasure. The house and surroundings have been refurbished, incorporating a contemporary touch for guests to enjoy. Lindsay House is located close to Armidale's CBD and overlooks the glorious Central Park.
Lindsay House was originally named after Edith Dulce Lindsay. It was also once the home and business practice of Dr. Walter Eli Harris, whom the house was built for in 1918. The home was later purchased by the Armidale Teachers' College (later the University of New England) in 1972 and used as student accommodation.
Rooms are furnished with quality beds, linen and unique antiques.
Coffee / tea and a fridge in the sunroom are provided for all guests to use during their stay.
Lindsay House has been a guest house for many years with guests enjoying the "old world" atmosphere, along with everything else the City of Armidale has to offer.
