Located on a 20-acre bushland property in the Wollombi Valley, Somewhere Unique combines a tranquil natural setting with luxurious, romantic couples-only accommodation, offering comfort and attention to detail. The retreats are situated in Hunter Valley Wine Country, approximately two hours' drive from the Sydney CBD and just over two kilometres from the historic village of Wollombi.

Somewhere Unique offers a choice of two unique one-bedroom, fully self-contained retreats, Lowanna and Allawah. Each retreat features a king-sized bed, a two-person bath, a gas log fireplace, privacy, and views from every room. The property is Eco-Certified by Ecotourism Australia and has received multiple Certificates of Excellence through TripAdvisor, with more than 300 five-star reviews.

Each booking includes a range of inclusions provided in the retreat on arrival. These include the use of bicycles and Wi-Fi, a complimentary bottle of local Noyce Brothers red or white wine (excluding the Babymoon Package), chocolates, and a generous breakfast hamper. Breakfast provisions include bread, bacon from The Pickled Pig, free-range eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, butter, jams, Vegemite, juice, Brookfarm natural muesli, milk, yoghurt, and coffee capsules for the Nespresso Lattissima coffee machine, ready to be prepared at leisure. Basic pantry items are also supplied, along with a Smart TV offering complimentary Foxtel.
