Overview
Hunter Valley Candymaking Class is a fun, hands-on experience at Hunter Farm in Pokolbin, where visitors can learn the art of making sweet treats in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
Led by the Chef, participants get hands-on making favourites such as peanut brittle, marshmallows and rocky road chocolate. It is relaxed, interactive and designed to be enjoyed by families, couples, friends and groups. No previous cooking experience is needed.
Candymaking is just one of the many ways to play at Hunter Farm. Across the family-owned 100-acre property, visitors can also discover pizza making, Hunter Valley Cooking School, Hunter Valley Wine School, Hunter Wine Theatre, grape stomping and barrel rolling.
For outdoor adventure, Hunter Adventure Centre offers activities including Segway tours, archery, axe throwing and laser target shooting. Visitors can also meet the farm animals, go horse riding or enjoy a horse-drawn carriage tour.
Make a day of it with breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks at 4 Pines at the Farm, or stay onsite at Hunter Valley Resort and Farm.
