Portrait Drawing Workshop – Inspired by Art Express Ages 8–12

Using graphite and coloured pencils, students will learn how to observe facial features, experiment with shading, and add expressive colour to bring their portraits to life. Students will look at how artists use line, tone, and colour to show personality and emotion in a face.

This workshop encourages creativity, confidence, and playful experimentation while introducing young artists to the exciting world of portraiture.
