Fosterton Biodynamic Farm is hosting a workshop on caring for your citrus trees by Ben Sharp from Beneficial Ag & Garden.

Is it the season, the rain, the dry? Is it the soil? Why are the pests coming, what is the scale on the lemons? There are always many questions and it's great when there is an experienced horticulturist on hand to help you sort out whatever issues are arising.

Ben will cover soil preparation and maintenance, shaping and pruning techniques, pests and diseases and how to manage them naturally and he'll talk about how to keep your citrus trees healthy.

At the workshop you'll have a chance to observe some citrus trees that need care, watch Ben pruning a citrus tree and there will be an opportunity to prune some trees under guidance.

Finally, there will be morning tea provided by Fosterton Farm Bakery!
