Overview
The Yindyamarra Display, located at The Wetlands in West Wyalong, is a permanent exhibition showcasing Indigenous artefacts and symbolic artworks created by local artists and students.
Led by artist Kheely Turner of Bundyi Yadhaa, the project involved students from Ungarie Central School and Wyalong Public School, who contributed painted works and handprint installations. The display also features handcrafted didgeridoos supplied by a local maker.
Developed through a collaboration between Bland Shire Council and the West Wyalong Local Aboriginal Land Council, the exhibition highlights local culture, community involvement and artistic expression.
The Yindyamarra Display provides visitors with the opportunity to engage with contemporary Indigenous art in a peaceful outdoor setting within The Wetlands precinct.
