The artwork reflects the extraordinary links between Samuel Augustus Perry's classical inspiration for the naming of Mt Parnassus and the real-life history of Gundagai. Drawing on Perry's story and the devastating Great Flood of 1852, Two Worlds explores the idea of worlds colliding across time, mythology, and lived experience.
