Each month, The Hive Gallery presents a new curated exhibition, giving guests something fresh to explore every Friday night. Wander through the gallery, enjoy a selection of fun games, or settle into cosy outdoor seating designed to spark conversation. The event is family-friendly, child-friendly and older-people-friendly, with a warm and inclusive community feel.

Entertainment changes weekly, with a diverse lineup ranging from solo performers and acoustic duos to jazz trios, folk acts and occasional DJs. Whether mellow or lively, the atmosphere is always engaging and inspiring.

A special food offering is available each week — homemade pizzas, jacket potatoes, dahl with rice or hearty soups. The menu depends on the weather and the volunteers, with gluten-free and vegan options always available.

The licensed Buzz Bar is open from 5pm to 9–10pm, serving drinks in a tranquil garden setting. With changing art, music and delicious volunteer-made food, Buzz Bar Fridays provide a memorable Queanbeyan experience.
