Stargazing at Murriyang
Overview
Join them for a Stargazing Evening at Murriyang, located at CSIRO's Parkes Observatory Visitors Centre for a night observing the stars with the Central West Astronomical Society (CWAS).

This is a free event with the CWAS setting up telescopes on the lawn for visitors to view the night sky. Light refreshments will be available, along with a barbecue which will create the best family friendly event for everyone! Cost applies for the barbecue.
This is a dog-friendly event, however, please ensure your dog remains with you at all times and is on a leash.
The playground will be open for use throughout the evening, and the Visitors Centre and the Dish Shop will be open to purchase souvenirs or to explore the centre.
This event is weather permitting; please call them on the day to confirm the event is going ahead.
Please note that this is a radio quiet site, so please ensure all mobile and electronic devices are switched to flight mode upon arrival. You can still take photos and videos with your devices in flight mode.
