Lake Lyell Recreation Park is a scenic lakeside destination offering powered and unpowered camping, set amidst 11 hectares on the edge of a peaceful freshwater lake near Lithgow in the Blue Mountains.

Campers enjoy direct access to swimming, kayaking, and fishing, with boat ramp and pontoon facilities and wide open spaces for relaxing by the water. Campfires are permitted on campsites, making it the perfect spot for evening gatherings. The park is pet-friendly, making it ideal for families and travellers with dogs.

Surrounded by natural bushland and rolling hills, Lake Lyell Recreation Park offers a back-to-nature experience with the convenience of hot showers, barbecues and picnic shelters. Wake to the sounds of native birds and watch the sun set over the water from your tent, campervan or caravan.

Close to iconic attractions including the historic Zig Zag Railway, Glow Worm Tunnel, Lost City and Gardens of Stone, the park is a peaceful base for exploring the Central Tablelands and Greater Blue Mountains.
